If you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.), please alert the office prior to your treatment.
If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to your office. If additional x-rays are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
First Visit: What to Expect
We begin with advanced diagnostics to gather a full picture of your oral health. This includes:
Digital X-rays (for radiographic assessment)
Intraoral 3D scan using our iTero scanner
Periodontal charting (gum health measurements)
These tools help us identify issues that may not be visible to the naked eye and allow us to track changes over time.
Next, you’ll sit down with our dentist to discuss your health history, concerns, and personal goals. Whether you’re seeking cosmetic improvements, relief from discomfort, or simply maintaining your oral health, we’ll work to understand your vision and align care with your priorities.
We perform a thorough evaluation of your oral and facial structures, which includes:
Head and neck screening
TMJ (jaw joint) assessment
Tooth structure and wear analysis
Periodontal (gum and bone) health exam
Overall dentofacial aesthetic review
This holistic approach helps us understand not just your teeth, but how everything functions together.
Based on the findings, we’ll create a tailored treatment plan that considers both your dental needs and your lifestyle. We’ll review your options together, explain the pros and cons, and empower you to make informed decisions about your care.
Once your treatment plan is outlined, you can choose to start your care the same day (when applicable) or schedule your next visit. Our team will work with you to find convenient times that fit your schedule.
